Crochet Hobbes Stuffed Animal
I remember when I picked up my first Calvin and Hobbes book in 4th grade. It is one one my sweetest childhood memories and I have so much respect for Bill Watterson for his desire to maintain the integrity of his work. On the other hand, I've always wanted a Hobbes stuffed animal and Watterson never licensed his characters for merchandising (including dolls and toys).
I decided to make a Hobbes doll an ongoing nap time project over the summer. It was my first stuffed animal and I'm actually quite proud of how it turned out!

Chicken Nugget Scarf
This was my first ever loom knit scarf. The ends were pretty rough, so I crocheted 12 little tan circles and sewed them onto the edges. I am not particularly fond of this scarf, but I do like the colors and how much the circles look like chicken nuggets. The scarf is actually beautiful and fluffy so I may make another one.
Apple Hat
I crocheted this hat to look like an apple. It was by no means meant to be a great meaningful art piece. I was just a silly little project for a friend who liked apples and hats.
